It's semi-hoodoo. It's clearly not random noise, because otherwise the results wouldn't correlate with things at all. But it's not _accurate_ and it's massively oversold. Handy for sparking discussions, largely.

Of course, being an INTP I would say that.

Well there you go - if the results were meaningless then I'd expect you to get a different, random, result each time :->

Not necessarily! Being impossible to even measure consistently is not the only way something can be meaningless as a personality measure. If I determined your star sign 100 times, I'd get the same answer every time, but that doesn't mean it has anything to do with your personality.

True - but star sign is directly derived from date of birth, whereas MBTI is derived from a personality questionnaire.
