I do suppose you're an excellent Lawyer/Barrister/Whatever (being an American, I'm unclear about British terminology & legalistic hokery-pokery), and could present this defence with a strait face. I have to wonder how you'd handle the more-than-50-% of the Jury members (not to mention the occasional Judge) who (I"m certain) would completely break up when presented with it.
