this announcement by DC of 10 movies, including a Wonder Woman movie.
And on the one hand, "Yay! A bunch of movies that might be fun! Including a female-led one for once!"
But on the other hand, DC do not have a great habit of making movies that I fall in love with. Looking back over

Batman Returns I think, the one that rebooted the franchise? I liked that one. Hated pretty much every other one.

I feel like, the natural tone for a superhero movie is fun, exciting, and not boring. I also like triumphant and thought provoking, but they aren't necessary. I don't think it's _just_ me that thinks that. I felt like Dark Knight was at the grim end of that spectrum (but it was fun too), and Incredibles at the fluff end (but it was tense too), and the first couple of Christopher Reeve Superman films somewhere in the middle. But at some point, someone decided superhero films should be grim and/or boring. Seriously, if your movie is grimmer than watchmen, grimmer than schindler's list, I think something's gone wrong...
Some of them sound like fun! But I think I'll wait for reviews before seeing them...

And the marvel fanboy in me will joyously dance in their ashes, while Cap 3, Avengers 2 & 3, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 & 3 take over the world.

It's not the property itself, though. DC hires good people to make their live action TV series, and have done ever since, at least Wonderwoman, while the people Marvel hired gave us the sub-Fugitive Incredible Hulk and I have still to be convinced by Agents of SHIELD. DC's cartoons are better overall than Marvel's, fond though I am of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
