The drawing style reminds me of Hayao Miyazaki's graphic novel Nausicaa. I loved this piece. What a strange love story.

story-wise, I liked the way you used the trickster archetype to create the Pareng Ahas. Is he a recurring character?

There were also points that reminded me of Warren Ellis and Carlos Pacheco's Starjammers LS and Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away.

art-wise, I loved the depiction of Asong Kalye, but some of the staccato shots could do with a change in perspective. For example, the "run-flee-hide" trio of shots could do with bringing the "camera" a little bit closer just so that the rhythm of reading doesn't slow down.

all in all, a solid story :)
