People like this make my blood boil. They seriously do. They are hoping to strike fear into British hearts, but I can assure you they only succeed in getting us angry, and more stubborn to see out our convictions. Whether or not you agree with the campaign in Iraq and Afghanistan is irrelevant. What is critical is that this disgraceful representation of a widely peaceful and amiable religion wishes to behead "like a pig" a British serviceman. And these people wonder why they are discriminated against when instead of taking steps (like most) to say "Hey, we don't condone violence", they hatch sickening plots and schemes.
People like this should be hanged from the gallows in public. My elder brother is in the British Army, and I find this plot to be a personal attack because of that. I'm delighted the plot was uncovered and (yet another) attempt at a terror attack on Britain was thwarted. Call me jingoistic if you wish, but this only reaffirms my belief that Britain is one of the greatest nations on Earth, and it will take a lot more than some "fanatical" idiot to bring my country down.
