Leaving Orange

I'm currently on hold trying to leave Orange so I can switch to O2 to get an iPhone. It seems like I've been listening to their hold music forever. Do you think that those who press the "I want to leave Orange option" get put to the back of the queue? Maybe I'm being cynical, but if you can't talk to an operator you can't leave!
