“And the other responded, ‘I have been searching for you.’” Two men ran through the fountain, skirting close to the invisible lift, and when they caught each other, their laughter echoed across the Plass; one like wind chimes outside his auntie’s house when Ianto was small, one like the quick thwak-thwak of Jack’s braces and belt hitting Ianto’s floor now that he was not

It's weird; I hadn't intended to go sad, but it just went there. I think Jack and Ianto like trading off taking care of the other when they're vulnerable. At least, I like it!

This is like word porn. Passages like this: ...their laughter echoed across the Plass; one like wind chimes outside his auntie’s house when Ianto was small, one like the quick thwak-thwak of Jack’s braces and belt hitting Ianto’s floor now that he was not. are just absolutely beautiful in their gorgeous detail and tone.
I think everyone here, myself included, as writers, can appreciate good word porn.

"Twin golden pools falling down their shoulders"; Jack as the Tiger, Tiger burning bright...
Something very sexy about how vulnerable Ianto is here.
Very romantic...and sad.
