“Feeling okay?” Jack asks quietly.
Ianto nods, not looking at him. He uses the sleeve of the robe to wipe the wetness away from his face. “I want…” his voice sounds funny to his own ears and he stops.
Jack cups his cheek gently. “What do you want, Ianto?” He tilts Ianto’s face up until he has no choice but to meet his eyes.
Once he does, he’s utterly lost. Jack is looking down at him like he’s the most precious thing in the world, and it nearly takes his breath away. The words come into his mouth without thought or intent. “White chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream.”
Jack’s eyes widen fractionally before he lets out a startled laugh. He leans in and takes Ianto’s lips in a slow, deep kiss. “You are one of a kind, you know that?” he says after pulling back. “I just can’t get enough of you.”
Ianto just stares at him, a little dazed. Jack stands up and offers his hand. “Come on. Let’s go get some ice cream.”
