Yeah, but the thing about electronic fads is that they are initially very expensive, tend to have numerous unanticipated problems, and the early users are essentially guinea pigs in the testing process. And these days, if you have technical problems, the customer service representative you have to deal with probably speaks poor English, even if they happen to know more about electronics than you do. The main lesson of the last 10-15 years of electronics is buyer beware, wait until most of the bugs are worked out, and then put your hard-earned money into something that will probably work with some degree of reliability. Cutting-edge generally doesn't mean what it used to mean, it tends to be thrown together in haste for a quick buck, and often the company or product doesn't outlive the warranty. Unless you are very careful and very electronics savvy, one can end up very frustated and wasting resources on testing a product that wasn't properly designed and built in the first place. Not saying that that will be the case here, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was an expensive pain-in-ass.
