incapacitation by scantronization is over for the moment. i've got my wits about me again, or close enought to be a half-wit at least. i consumed 4 jello shots on thursday, courtesy of longhorngrl (which were uber wonderful by the way). they were so good, i didn't even get to finish my bedtime prayer before i succumbed to a mild form of inebriety (is there such a thing?). lemon with rum were good, but the cherry with vodka variety were sadistic. nothing short of amusing when one chokes on a cherry jello shot. so many emotions and sensations all at once, pain, laughter, happiness, a cerrated burning of the sensitive esophageal lining, it was great. top it off with do-it-yourself nachos that are better than a good spanking with a handful of naughty but nice snickerdoodles and you've got yourself a circus of the animal-friendly-because-there-are-no-animals-variety. fun fun. update on the ballet flats: i bought two pairs yesterday, hot-pink and black, both the satin with a rhinestone buckle on the across the top to accentuate my varicose veins and fat ankles. i'm glad psychick talked me into buying them, otherwise i would have killed her with my incessant pining and operatic vocalizations of regret. on a lighter note, gelato and bruschetta at texas expresso cafe are awesome (but ask for the spread without any mayo for your bruschetta), the cinnamon tastes like snickerdoodles. ok, off to do something productive before i prepare to shake my goodies on 6th and congress.
