i know it's easy to dismiss u2 as another big band because of the star power they hold right now.
BUt i am sorry it's hard to not listen and i mean really LISTEN to u2 tracks and get inspired... i know these guys are making a crapload of money hand over fist but when i see them perform i can't help but believe they have a certain amount of sincerity behind the content of what they are doing. Sincerity can't be faked...
i'll take u2 of any of these shitty "indie" bands anyday... the weakerthans can go ef themselves.
