What I like about Winter...
There are very few things I like about winter.
i DONT like the following things about winter:
that there are no flowers
its cold
its usually very windy
shoveling (its the bane of my existence )
snow getting in my shoes thus making my feet cold and wet
trying to get out of my warm bed in the morning when i KNOW its freezing out
shoveling (trust me with my driveway it NEEDS to be listed twice)
sometimes it can get eerily quiet since most animals don't trounce about in the winter
I DO like....
that the sky becomes really clear at night and it feels like the stars shine a bit brighter than in the summer (even tho i can hardly ever stay up late enough to actually get my fill of stargazing)
when trees get coated in snow
icicles
Hot chocolate with peppermint
mittens and hats
seeing your breath (weather it be the little puffs of air while talking or the loong drawn out exhales, just to see your own breath .. nobody knows why its so fascinating...but it is!)
So i guess there aren't THAT many things i dont like about winter...i just needed to think about it a bit...
