(no subject)
So things have been kind of emotional lately.
Mostly you know dealing with my mom.
I got my tattoo and I don't think it could be more perfect.
It's my tribute to her and a promise never to forget her and yeah...here we go.
So when my sister saw my tattoo the other day she went to my dad and asked for my moms rings.
For those who don't know, she had 2 really special rings when she died.
Her wedding ring obviously, and a blue saphire ring with diamonds all around it.
It was decided a long time ago that I would get her wedding ring and Ang would get the saphire.
And it's really funny cause when Ang and I saw them again, we changed our minds. She wants the wedding ring and I like the saphire a lot!
Well they were cut off of her fingers so we have to get them fixed and resized.
So Ang took them into a jeweler and he said it would be about $30 to fix them.
And then on my ring there are prongs that need to be replaced. And each one costs like $15 to replace and there are like 3 or 4 of them, which means it would cost like $100 to get it fixed.
I want to wear it now, but I don't know when I will have the money to get it fixed.
I wouldn't have to get the prongs fixed right away, like I could spend the $30 to get the band fixed and sized and then get the prongs fixed when I have the money.
So hopefully by the end of this month I'll have the band fixed so I can at least wear it.
I prolly won't wear it all the time, but it will definitely be something I will want to wear once in awhile.
Just thought I'd post cause I was pretty excited about it.
And now I'm going to bed!
