(no subject)
So yesterday was a lot of fun.
After work Tiff and I went and looked at 1 apartment, cause the other 2 were closed already.
It turns out Saginaw Pointe is kind of a disappointment. It is subsidized in the fact that you can't, well in Tiff's and my case make more than $26,000 a year combined, but we had to make at lest $21,000. So we were good there, but and this is a HUGE but...if there are two people living in an apartment they can't both be full time students! Which means one of us would have to take less than 12 credits! And the lady was like is that going to be a problem? And I was like yeah I can't and won't take less than 12 credits. Tiff said it's negotiable for her, but prolly only until she is done with Delta.
AND it's really expenisve! It would cost us $679 a month, like $339 a person and I can't afford that. I honestly don't want to have to pay over $250 a month!
It's just disappointing cause the apartments are in a really good spot and they have a pool and gym and clubhouse that you can rent out for parties!
But it's prolly not gona be for us.
But we have a lot more looking to do.
We tried to go to Olive Tree and Embassador, but they were both closed.
We like the area they are in too.
So during spring break since I'm gona have a few days off for my tattoo anyway, we are gona go during the day when we have more time and look at tons of apartments.
Tiff printed off a list of all the apartmenst in Saginaw so it's a good start.
There are ones behind the kmart on gratiot that I think we might look at too.
I really want to move out when this semester is over like may/junish, but I don't think we will be ready. I want more time to save up some money and for us to get some more things together.
And summer is a good time to go to garage sales and get stuff! i mean i guess we dont need the apartment completely funished as soon as we move out, but it would be nice to have most of it.
So yeah I am VERY excited to keep looking!
I think it is a definite plan for this summer! YAY :):)
Then after apartment hunting we went shopping :)
JCPenney was having it's home sale so we went and looked and bought some bath towels LOL.
I bought purple and yellow and Tiff bought hot pink and a bright blue.
Our apartment is gona be so fricken cool! lol
Then I bought a pair of white sunglasses at wet seal! I love them.
Then I bought lip gloss and it's really good! lol and a gift certificate for my sister's bday from Victoria's Secret.
Then I bought a new pair of jeans and a cute tank top from Vanity.
Then we went and ate at TGI Fridays.
I had never eaten there and it was REALLY good!
They have the 3 course meals for $12.99 so we did that and I had some pretty amazing cheesecake! mmm :)
Then we went and walked around meijer for like 20 minutes.
Then we went and saw Big Momma's House 2.
It was hilarious.
Good times.
So it was a very long day for me...but lot's of fun!
And now it's homework for the rest of the weekend!
