(no subject)
So, I have an interesting situation. I'm required to take a winter class this year, and I was planning on just writing a paper, cause that's one of the options, but it seems I've missed a deadline and they won't let me do it. In order to do it, I'd have to file a petition to the Board of Administrators and, while I'm likely to get it granted, that would put a huge pressure on me to write a really good paper, and I'm just not sure if it's worth it.
So I guess I'm taking a winter class. The class I'll likely take (because it's cool - Education and the Courts) will be from 9am to 12pm from Jan 2nd to Jan 18th. Both Menelek and my mom have limited leave left from their jobs, though they're willing to work it out. But, since I know some of you guys are in school, and I know that school doesn't start till the end of january (though I think everyone I know may be taking a winter course...), I was wondering if anyone could come up for a few days during that time period to help with the baby? Baby duty would only be those 3 hours a day... so not too intense... but of course, coming up here is a problem. Just curious if anyone would be able to come, while we're planning this craziness.
In other news, Naia is a month old tomorrow! Hurray! I also have an exam tomorrow... boo. I'm coming to MD next friday night. I was planning on staying till jan 7 or so, but I guess if I have this class, I'll have to leave jan 1st... Anyways I hope to see lots of people while I'm there!
