I really need to update! Like with pics and stuff from NYC. But I don't have time so I'll just write and then do the pics later this weekend.
So we leave our house around 10-11 am on Friday. My (ex-step) grandpa is pretty rich and he had this little Lincoln car come pick us up at my house to take us to the airport. I felt rich. It made me think... hmm I think this is going to be a fun weekend! So it was boring and I hate planes but we finally get there and check into the hotel. It was so beautiful, I want to live there. We went downstairs to 'Bar 10' to wait for my aunt and had like good hor'deviors (idk how to spell it but,you know, or-deeervs). Katie came and it was exciting to see her. Then Katie's college roommate from Hopkins, Stacey, and her sister Lindsey met us at our hotel. By this time it was like 8pm and dark so we got to walk through Times Square to get to the restraunt called Ruby Fuzz which was really good. Then everone was jet lagged so we just went back and slept.
On Saturday we got up bright and early to go wait in line at Battery Park for over 2 hours to get on a ferry to go around the harbor, past the Statue of Liberty, and to Ellis Island. I searched my ancestors up and kind of found John Koerber, my like, great great great great grandpa. It was kind of crazy. Then we went out to lunch at this amazing Mexican restraunt called Red and I loved it. After that Stacey and Lindsey took us to Canal Street and did some shady illegal actions for some fake designer purses. It was fun. Then they had to leave so we went to SoHo with Katie and did some more shopping. That night Katie's other friend named Joanie stayed with Katie. We went out for pizza that night and went through Times Square again. I went to the hugest Toys R Us, 3 levels, with a ferris wheel, it was pimp. I got Ailey a birthday present. Angelina Ballerina-shes the shit.
On Sunday we got up pretty early again and took a cab to West Central Park to go to the American Museum of Natural History. What can I say, there were a lot of dinos! It was a pretty cool museum. Then we ate lunch at Cosi and went to see our broadway musicual, which was Mamma Mia! It was really cute and I liked it. I was really tired during it though. NYC wears me out. After that Katie took us back to SoHo for some more shopping. We came home and Mupa made us reservations at a really nice restraunt. The cheapest entree was like 25 bucks and I felt bad ordering food. We sat at our table for like 3 hours reminiscing of old family memories and stuff. It was cute and a good way to spend the last night.
On Monday morning, yet again, we got up early and decided to go back to SoHo cus I wanted more fake purses. So I got another purse and a wallet (both Chanel) and then we went back to SoHo and went back to my favorite store there- called Pearl River. I got most of your all souvenirs from there cus it was so cute. Then we dropped Katie off at the train station so she could go back to DC and we went to the airport and the NYC trip was over and it was sad.
Then I came home and spent Monday night with Corinne. Yummeh Joe's crab sack. And 'I don't wank off'. Yeah, tehehehe.
Tuesday I spent with Jenn, starting to scrapbook and whatnot. <3 Jenn.
Yesterday we celebrated Katelyn's Sweet 16 w/ the girls! Happy Sweet 16 babigee!
Right now it's Thursday morning and I'm about to leave to go stay with my aunt & uncle in Grosse Pointe for a couple days. I'm excited because I get to meet my new baby cousin-Parker!
Kbye!
