Today was one of those days where everything wasn't going the way as planned. I woke up early to head to Burnell to meet my observation teacher. Get there at about 7:55ish and realized I wouldn't have enough time to meet with him or what not. That's my own fault for being so slow in the morning. Oh well. Math was okay, what we learned was kinda hard, all the different formulas for finding area and volume of different shapes. There's just so many formulas to remember, luckily he said he'll give them to us on the test. I came back after that, took a nap, and woke up to my alarm going off so I could get ready for Spanish. Readings in Spanish wasn't bad, I like that class alot because of the people in it. Class always goes by so fast and its pretty entertaining. Now my other Spanish class, don't even get me started...
We get our tests back, like many others in the class, I did horrible. That class is so frustrating and makes me feel like I know nothing. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. The professor expects us all to get 100's on quizzes/tests, which would be great, but we're human and make mistakes. In addition, we're all at different levels in our Spanish. I did very well in Intermediate Spanish but I feel as though I didn't learn anything in that class. What also bothers me is that my professor assigns us homework and then the next day will go over it in class. I'm not going to learn anything that way, its better to teach something and then assign it for homework. That's the whole point of doing homework. I am learning new vocab/expressions which is good, but also because its not really a speaking class, I'm not improving in that sense either. Gahhhh, its just so frustrating.
I also found out that the people I babysit's dog has cancer. How do dogs even get cancer in the first place? Bacchus is such a good dog, I'll be so upset to see him go, because I don't know how much the vet's can do. I hate thinking about it, enough people suffer from cancer, and now animals have to? Like anyone with cancer, you always wish you could do something, but you cant.
I'm going home tomorrow to get a few things that I need, most importantly, cheddar pretzels, my Ugg's, fall coat. I'm hopefully gonna be able to see my peanut too.
Anyways, thats it for today. The Red Sox are playing tonight, hopefully they can pull off a big win!
