This year I resolve to:
--get a handle on my finances. I just borrowed $600 from my dad today to hold me over until March. I really appreciate him loaning me the cash. I hate asking for handouts. I should be adult enough to handle my finances myself, not resort to spending frivilously and ending up in the lurch. I should be just fine now, if the numbers I crunch tell any tale.
--lose weight. Let's face it, in the words of William Murderface, "I'm the fat one." If I can get down to a weight that I'm happy with, then all will be right with me. I don't have a scale. I can't afford to go out and buy one right now. I'm trying to eat better and exercise more, so that will probably help.
--find someone who rocks my world : Check. That one's already done.
--quit/cut down on smoking. If I do this, it will cut down on the money that I spend every month on cigarettes, thereby allowing resolution number 1 to proceed more smoothly.
--keep my home in order. I need to stop being such a slob. I need to keep this place in such shape where it's like people are going to be coming here every night. I'm about 85% of the way there, so that one is getting done.
I think that's all of the resolutions currently. I really hate New Years Resolutions, because more often than not, I don't keep them because they're too hard for me to keep. The reason I have five of them is that at least one or two can, and will be accomplished by the end of 007.
I think all this unnecessary stress and depression is making my stomach go all weird. I really have nothing to be depressed about. I just need to focus on the task ahead and go at it full force. Progress is better than nothing.
