Long time!

Oh my gosh it's been a long time since I've posted anything, and so much is going on in my life.

Johnny and I finally decided that we need to sell our home. It was such a hard decision because it is the home my mom was raised in, and where my parents were married. We (Johnny and I) bought it from my grandparents when they moved. I have spent almost every Christmas of my life there, and we LOVE the home. But... we can't afford it. We can when Johnny works OT (I am salary, and do not have that option), but we are trying to start a family and have always dreamed of me being a SAHM. Not going to happen here, we need both of our incomes just to make it now, let alone with children, and I don't want Johnny to have to work his life away just so we can hold onto this place. So Friday, it'll go on the market. Sad, but exciting too.

We are looking into moving to Moses Lake! The housing and cost of living is so much less then what it is here! It's only 2 1/2 hours from most of our family and friends. Johnny is interviewing with a company over there.

We are stepping out on faith here, by listing our home before we even really know where we are going, or if Johnny will have a job! We know that the housing market has slowed down, so that is why it is the first step.

Johnny will be leaving a company he's been at for 12 years, the only company he's ever worked for! They have no clue yet.

A little sad... however... we are setting into action the dreams we've had for our future, and I love that. We both have said that we feel like grown-up's now! We are finally realizing that we can't have EVERYTHING we want, and getting our priorities in order!

Things are crazy at our place. We were not planning on selling the house this year, so we are busting our butts getting everything in order! We are having the carpets cleaned, laminate flooring put in the dining and entry, and my personal favorite... we hired someone ELSE to do a big house cleaning! So while all that is going on, we are painting, organizing, and getting the curb appeal up to par.

We pressure washed our vinyl siding, it looks great. I didn't realize how great until today when one of my clients (and neighbor) called me at work and said how much she liked our new house color!! Uhh... we didn't paint it... just washed it! Funny, but again a little sad!! lol!

Well that is all I know for now!
