Weekend Update with Andrea Cook
I loved this weekend.
Johnny was gone early morning Saturday to go camping/ dirt bike riding and did not get home until Sunday afternoon. I love my husband with my whole heart, but it was so nice to just do what I wanted to do this weekend!!
My only plans were to read and then Saturday go to my friends BBQ. And that is just what I did! I even ate pretty good at the “grill out” Johnny tells me that it’s not a bbq unless it’s slow cooked… anyway… my friend made an artichoke dip that was amazing, and I ate that up, but that was it for the bad stuff… and she did use low fat mayo!
I finished up our book for book club.
Sunday I went to church, early service, and then headed off to Costco. I also went to Macy’s to see what I could use the Friends and Family coupon on (thank you mrsshoegal)… but would you know that after trying tons of things on, there was not a thing that I had to have! So I left the mall with nothing more then I got there with… a first, a HUGE first!
So we are trying to get pregnant. We actually have been wanting to get PG for about a year and a half now, but until this month hadn’t taken any ovulation predictor tests, which is crazy because my cycle is not normal! So Friday, I got my first positive, that I was about to ovulate! I am a fan of irony, but not this time. Come on now! The one of few times that Johnny actually goes away for the weekend… ok, it is kinda funny… we gave it our best shot in the time that we had!
