Story´s-Plot:
(Somewhat late teens old) Daeerys Targaryen
is forced to marry the wild Khal Drogo, Lord of the Horsemen, the Dothraki.

Facing him at first is a shock...
He´s huge, dark and wild.
He seems indifferent - to call it nicely--.
Her brother, who cared for her all her life, thinks of him as savage and wild...
Drogo seems to have honor and pride, but he is waaaaay not as civilized as she is used to...
At first she is terrified...
Well, they dragged her half around the world to marry a "beast" just for her family to have a new ally
to get a chance to fight for the Iron Throne.
Jason says Drogo´s people, the Dothraki, are tribal, free and wild..."and loving,... well not so loving at first"...
"Dani" Targaryen and the tribe...
And the "alpha"...
Reminds me a bit of "King Kong and the white lady..." *smirks*
Well, Jason reffers to Drogo as "a savage beast - a Lion mixed with a Silberback gorilla"---so...

He rules by strength and natural dominance...
The tribal wedding---
Drogo´s people celebrate life - in all aspects...for them life is fighting, sex and emotions...
...and coolness?
Her brother is not treated as a king to be.... and he doesn´t like it.
For the first time SHE is worshipped...
Drogo gives her a really rare wedding gift...
Dragon Eggs, turned into stone by age - yet still...
She is the last heir of the Dragonblooded.
For his brother she is a treasure - in old times and following the customs they would have been married!
- and a useful tool in one.
He does not treat her respectfully...
When she leaves for her "honeymoon" with the huge stranger, he actually orders her: "Make him happy!"
What he ignores is, that another man maybe will respect her - and fight for her.
A man, who knows the value of personal freedom...
...and can´t stand a woman to be treated like property...
At first though, he is not so much a "good" husband. But he is curious about his new "precious gift".
And scare the young virigin even more....
Wtching this remineded me of a horde-whisperer approcaching a slender filly,
which never ad been touched by men before...
...which might break into mad flight any second.
But he is drawn to her.
She is so...alien to his world....and much like a fragile butterfly.

The horsemen are warriors and - quoting Jason - Drogo as their king is the strongest and has never lost a fight...
He has to be dominant.
But...."Not so loving"?
He shows her that he cares by small gestures...like bringing her eggs to the wedding tent...
...and he shows her more...
Well, she shows him "a whole new world there..."
Ahhhhwwwww.. THAT smile!
So...intimate...
*wants*
No, not her!
They get closer...and finally she grows into her role...
...becoming their queen and his wife...
A long way for her from puppet dragged wherever usefull...
... to a free woman...
