Life update, Teen Wolf watching
(written yesterday evening, but our Internet connection was being difficult, so I'm posting now.)
Still unemployed. Maria has job interview on Wednesday, but no one replied to any of the application Ula and I sent. Yet. (Hopefully.)
The excitement of being abroad wore off. I'm not very fond of Ireland, I must say. It's not bad, sure, but it's not epic either. Though I love how very few people from Ireland I meet. Not because I hate them or something, but because I love how multicultural the place is. People walking under our window and I hear several different languages within few minutes. It's awesome. (The fact that I regularly hear Polish from strangers is also pretty neat, though not always those people make me want to be asociated with them in any way.)
The weather however sucks ass. I get that it doesn't stay the same whole day. It doesn't in Poland either, but, you know, more often than not there is a pattern. Cold morning, warmer day, cold evening, yeah? Ireland is not even close to something so logical. Everyday it's "cold, hot, cold, colder, hot, hotter, cold, warm, cold, warm, cold, cold, hot and it's not even midday yet!" Ugh.
Today the weather was nice, though. Actually not "omg, why did I pack shorts and not more jumpers?!", which was steady reaction to the weather for the past week. Today I actually laid in park happily in the sun. (We decided that we're pissed at the whole job hunting thing and it's a weekend, so we just went to the park. Girls actually were walking pretty fast and wanting to see a lot and I think they don't know me well enough if they thought that would work, lol. In the end they walked around and I lay on the grass, enjoying the sun.)
Besides that, I finally watched Teen Wolf 3x04. (I was disappointed by 3x03, can't download 3x05 as we don't have proper Internet connection and so I delayed watching.) There were few parts I liked, far more that I hated, one that was fucking triggering and I don't usually get triggered by things. Thanks for that Teen Wolf. Ugh. *goes back to reading Star Trek fics* I know I should work on my Teen Wolf story for mix up bigbang, but I can't even think about Derek right now without shaking with anger. Pairing him with Stiles is beyond me at the moment, sorry. Ugh. Why are you doing this to me, show, why?
