That awkward moment, when someone asks about/mentions your brother, because they're sure you've talked about him before and you're wondering how to convay in simple words the message of: Okay, this is gonna get awkward, but don't freak out, because it really isn't your fault, you didn't know and it's all fine, but my brother is dead.

Usually it makes me sound like a sociopath and just double the pity. Clearly I'm doing something wrong here. Huh.
