Title: Sweet Questions Aside...
Rating: PG-13
Author: Andrea Deer
Words: 563
Pairings: Jared/Jensen
Warnings: RPS, AU, slash, silliness, fluff.
Summary: Just a bit of sweetness and fluff to celebrate Jare's birthday.
Disclaimer: By this piece of fiction I wouldn't want to - in any way - suggest that I have any rights for the boys used in here or that they are really being together in a kind of relationship I suggest. Honestly, I have no idea how they're living theirs personal lives and it's absolutely, totally only theirs own business. I just want to express my opinion that they're so awesome and great guys that I love to use them as characters in my stories. Just for fun and guilty pleasure. (And it's officially the longest disclaimer I wrote xD).
Beta: NONE!
A/N: My new love for RPS made me write a fic (really short one, at least ;)) to celebrate Jared's birthday. I hope you'll enjoy it! :D
Best wishes Jare! Be healthy and grow big… er? xD Love ya!

Sweet Questions Aside...
***
"No, Jared! I told you a dozen of times! It's stupid and... no!"
"Jen... Jennnyyyyyy..." whined Jared making his famous puppy-dog eyes at his boyfriend. "I know, we know each other for just a few days and I asked you already dozens of questions about you, but... You know all about me! I told you, where I work! Ha! I took you to the coffee shop I work in! Letting myself be the object of jokes and teasing from Jeff, awful bastard also known as my boss. Come on, Jenny..."
Jensen sighed and shook his head. He knew from the beginning that becoming involved with this giant, over-enthusiastic guy was one big mistake. Still it felt like fun, so he hoped he'll manage to spend with him at least a couple of happy weeks before there will appear problems they won't be able to fight.
Like asking about Jensen's job.
***
It wasn't even that Jensen hated his job... On the contrary, he loved it! He loved the smiles and the shining eyes of the kids... These young and those slightly older kids. Everyone forgetting about everything else, the outside world, the troubles at work and at home... Faced with the cure for any blues and pains.
Jensen loved this. Even if sometimes his job required of him to do some more ridiculous things, he loved it. (Especially now that he was co-owner of the whole firm and could order others to do the less pleasant things). The only problem was that most of the guys that Jensen dated didn't get the magic of his work. And really, he was laughed at one time too many to risk another such reaction from some jerk.
Or so he thought, because apparently Jared's puppy-eyes were strong enough to break his will and make him take a risk.
He opened the back door and lead Jared to the darkened room. He sighed loudly, obviously distressed and he felt a big palm, moving upon his back in quick caress.
"Relax, Jen. It's gonna be okay, honestly... I mean how bad can it be?"
"It's not bad," stated Jensen firmly. "It's great, just... Most of guys don't get it, you know?"
"Sure thing, dude."
He took a deep breath and moved to the main room, Jared on his heels. One more look at the windows, to check if the blinds were drown down and no one will see them from the street. He reached to the light switch and turned everything on, looking at the colorful lamps shining down at the mountains of sweets. Bright colors everywhere. On the wrappings of lollipops, candies, cookies, bubble-gums and tones of other things. And in the middle of the main room of the biggest candy-shop in the city was a small fountain that now turned back on along with the lights. Jensen concentrated on it, seeing small flaws of the most magic, brightening-moods medicine ever created: chocolate.
Finally he coughed nervously, not sure if Jared's silence is better than laugh or worse.
"This... This is where I work... I..." Jensen laughed nervously, running a hand through his hair. "I co-own this place and uh... Yeah... So... Any more awfully important questions?"
He finally turned to look at the other man, who returned his gaze with eyes wide and mouth slightly ajar.
"Yeah..." he mumbled, obviously slowly getting out of shock. "Marry me?"
