Lagging behind...
So the ripping and tearing is done, the bird is in the oven, and the uncles are already drinking. Grans in a tizzy and the cousins are running amok.
I can't keep up with it all, I'm lagging behind, trying to figure where my place is in all this mess.
So the pile of loot amounts to this:
1 pair of AWESOME shoes, timberlands, that i asked for like 6 mos ago. Gran just scored huge amounts of brownie points.
5 pairs of wool\angora\cashmere blend socks- great job aunt linda and uncle george
1 unappealing book- thanks aunt beth.
1 journal\scrapbook...thing... thanks aunt linda
1 pair of beautiful ear rings- Gran is on a roll so far!
1 Barnes and Nobles gift card- 50 clams- nice one uncle doug! He shoots he scores!
1 set of flannel pjs- very nice uncle donald and aunt beth
1 tie dyed shirt from some mueseum(sp.?) random present that i really like- thanks again donald and beth
1 borders gift certificate- 25 clams- Gran is a God.
1 caboodles-esque manicure set with said manicure stuff, nail polish, and a rock bracelet? Thaaaaanks aunt debbie!
1 glass and silver make up pouf thingie- well gran, 3:1 thats not bad at all!
1 black scarf with pink fringe... Aunt Linda? What were you thinking? :) But, a scarf is a scarf.
:) Pulled in a good haul this year. But christmas as i remember it from years past never got here, not for a second. Just like me it was left in the wake.
