weird day
Does anyone else find this odd?
I go into work this morning, which is on in itself since I usually work from home in the mornings. But, I digress (sorry, lame FCTMRTNG joke) I get to my office this morning and there's this HUGE post-it, seriously, it was a full sheet of paper, with a note, "AJ, come see me when you get in! MASSIVE IMPORTANT! B" So I go to her office and she tells me she's got a mission for...a plaid bath towel with a pattern resembling a kilt, if possible, a plaid shower cap, otherwise a funky one, and a shower brush to match. I spend the better part of a 9 hour day...5 hours to be exact, looking for a damn plaid bath towel. Tommy Hilfiger makes one that's semi-plaid, but every store that carries Tommy Home was out of the Alec Mad About Plaid. B is thinking I'm gonna cave in and tell her to shove her plaid and walk out...instead, I decide to have one imported...from Scotland. It costs about the same and the shipping isn't bad. Besides, it's HVKs money, not mine. Having a Corp AmEx rocks!
Tomorrow's QDMS training, Non-Joel (also known as lunch at the horse and get plowed), and the Delta v. Kohler showdown in the afternoon.
For the first time since graduation I finally feel like I know what I'm doing, and I must say, it's a great feeling.
