Ancestral amusement

It's Family History Month in Australia, and I have just come across a family of distant Victorian/Edwardian cousins who I'm not sure whether to (metaphorically) applaud or slap. LOL! I think they deserve applause for being creative enough to come up with so many A names but I suspect their children might have wanted to slap them.

Fascinating stuff!

We've been doing a bit of research into the family who first lived in our house when it was built in 1895. The father was a baker with a shop in the next street, and they had 5 children, but the oldest, Ernest, died when he was 9 - we can't find why yet. One of the daughters never married and died at 40 but the parents lived into their 70s, so did one of their sons. I love to think of them all living here. :-)
