It is clear that despite a programme of Equal Opportunities and Diversity Training there is a need for further training at our Sheffield office - one which will also highlight the area of Transgender people.
Appropriate action will be taken with the staff involved.

I was told a while back that I'd basically completed the qualification anyway so hopefully I can arrange to get it without having to go back.
I think as well as them needing diversity training for dealing with trans people, certain members of staff there needed a general cluebat re just not being an asshole (especially the branch manager who tried to intimidate me out of complaining). Hopefully this aspect will have been taken on board so nobody else gets treated as horridly, whatever their issue.
