Tomorrow marks two months of living full time in female role, time has flown. I wasn't intending to go full time the day I changed my name but it just kind of happened. Going out dressed femaleish got easier pretty quickly and dressing unambiguously female now isn't a problem. Hormones have worked really well, I seem to pass pretty convincingly with a little effort. My voice is far from convincing but I'm not going to let it stop me. If I can't get it any better myself over the next few months I'll have to go for some speech therapy.
My head is in an odd place at the moment, I'll say why in a few weeks time when I've got my thoughts straight about it. I'm pretty happy though, I feel I can get to wherever I need to go*, wherever that turns out to be.
(*which puts me in a better situation than half the country at the moment)
Been listening to Brand New's latest album a LOT over the past few days. It's exceedingly good for a band that were pretty generic pop punk to start out with. Yeah they're still kind of emo but damn good.
