In the continuing saga of getting the backlist -- written pre digital (although this particular book was written on either a Commodore 64 or an IBM portable - fit in a backpack weighed 17 pounds) -- we bring you my third novel, first published in 1989, one of the first of the modern urban fantasies: Gate of Darkness, Circle of Light.

I love this book. I love you. I used to have it as a stand alone novel but gave it to my friend when I got the omnibus edition with The Fire's Stone (which I also love. And the Blood and Smoke books. And Enchantment Emporium 'verse. And Sing the Four Quarters was my gateway to your other titles. Did I mention I love you?). I once did fanart of Evantarin, over a decade ago...

Thank you!

And I'd love to see the art if you still have it around...

I'm not really an artist, and the quality isn't great either, but enjoy.

Of note, the kindle reader interface is available on regular computers for reading, too. I have bought kindle versions of books and read them on my iMac (note the lack of the actual kindle in that sentence). Just pointing it out as something worth knowing in case you are, like me, one of the less nobless oblige who do not own a device solely for reading. :)

Amazon has a web interface of some kind that keeps track of the pages and all that.

I read on my iTouch with both kindle and Kobo. I love that they're all so sharey about it. :)

Nook also has the computer user interface and keeps track of pages. Can also sync your Nook with your computer and phone so they all keep track of where you were.

I read that when it was new...I wish the blurb didn't make it sound like, "Back when dinosaurs bought fantasy books made out of *paper*...". :-)

King's College Circle! Still love the book, no matter what it's called.

Btw, it looks like you just need the ISBN for creating links for the iBook store: http://essentialworks.co.uk/blog/2010/06/how-to-link-to-books-on-the-ibooks-store/

Hoe that helps.

It's 31C here today. I'm blaming the heat for my continued confusion. :)

I go to iTunes, search the book, then click the little arrow next to the price. That gives me some options, including Copy Link.

Here is the link I copied. O:>

I got the "now on kindle" notice this morning. So exciting! :-D

I lost my much-read copy a couple of moves ago, and it is great to know it will soon be on my kindle.

Yay, backlist!!
