First e-collection out of the gate!
Remember how back in August you were doing all those polls for me? About e-collections and themes and prices and whatnots?
Well, guess what? The first collection is up and running! (and the crowd goes wild!)(ish... wildish) Thank you all for your help through out the decision making!
Although all sites, formats, and possiblities have been uploaded, only Barnes & Noble has gone live at this time. There was some discussion about whether or not I should wait to post all links at once, but I think B&N should be able to reap at least a small benefit from being on the ball. And I didn't want to wait anyway.
To get ahead of the FAQ's:
1. Yes, this collection (and every collection following) will be available in as many formats as possible -- of course that includes Kindle.
2. Yes, I will post the links to all those other formats as I get them.
3. Yes, that will be as soon as possible but I don't know exactly when.
4. I have no control over how fast books go up on Kindle or Smashwords or other places; all I can promise is that I'll post the links as I get them.
5. If you see a pirated edition, first, what are you doing hanging around on pirate sites? That's only going to encourage them. Second, if you happen to accidently stumble through a pirate site where there's an illegal edition of this ebook, feel free to mock, scold or otherwise berate them on my behalf. They're taking catfood away from my cats and drywall off the walls of my house. Third, send me the link and until I flounder under the futility of it all, I'll send them take down notices which they'll ignore. But we'd still probably put them out of business faster if no one ever went to their sites. I'm just saying...
