Remembrance Day

Back in 2000, after the formal Remembrance Day ceremony at the Canadian War Memorial where, as part of the ceremony, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was dedicated, the crowd moved in and began spontaneous placing their poppies on the tomb.

It's become a tradition and, by this afternoon, there'll be thousands of poppies covering the granite.




Remember those who gave their lives.  Support those still serving.  And work at finding a better way of resolving conflict than sending men and women out to die...
