And since an internet connection isn't a given around here lately, I thought I'd use it to quickly share something my  Google Alert for Blood Ties pulled up this mornin --  a mention on a blog called URBMN where the blogger, Cameron Archer, was doing a Canadian TV on DVD Roundup.

I not only bought the DVD while I was in Toronto for your book signing (because I lacked the patience to wait for the U.S. release), I just bought a used iPod touch so I can watch the episodes from iTunes without sitting at the computer.

I've tried watching "Defying Gravity" because Christina Cox is in it, but it's so bad so far not even she can redeem it for me. Which is pretty much what I'd expect from a network TV show, alas.

I've just watched all episodes in a row because I missed the show on TV. It's not as good as the books, but I like most of the show. I'm not so happy with the end. Too many open questions. I'm looking forward to meet part of the cast at Ring*Con in October.

I dislike the ending intensely. It was obviously a setup for a second season that never happened. The plots weren't as good as in the books, but I loved the actors.
