Worldcon wrap-up
The beloved got home safely last night. She says she had a wonderful time although she's very, very tired. Work should be interesting today.

I'm thinking of having "thank you for helping my bear" ribbons for 2012. *g*
And speaking of 2012 -- who the heck is bidding? I know next year is Australia (it's our 20th wedding anniversary and we're going to London instead), Reno is 2011, and I've now heard/read about half a dozen times that "Texas" is bigging for 2013 -- Really? Texas? The whole state? -- but I haven't heard anything about 2012.
ETA: Texas is bigging? Uh huh... I appear to have absorbed that whole "everything is bigger in Texas" on a cellular level. *g*
