Blood Ties delayed

After posting yesterday that season one of Blood Ties will be out on June 2nd, this morning I find Google alerts has scooped up an announcement that it'll be delayed until the 23rd of June.  No reason given.   This is what I read.

THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM, however, will still be out on time.

The book got a good review in Publisher's Weekly -- not

At this point, I'm surprised when we do get a reason for anything to do with BT. :: pets poor star-crossed show ::

OTOH, the date will be easy to remember. It has a strong likelihood of finding me on Amazon frantically sending my dad an e-gift-card to technically not be late for his birthday.

It was delayed in order to be released in conjunction with my birthday a couple of days later.

Really? I thought it was me, since my birthday is the 24th. ^^ Ah, well, I don't mind sharing if it means I get BT on DVD. I purchased the entire series off of Itunes...and then my hard drive crashed and I lost everything. *sobs*
