Summer Schedual

May 13, 2009 09:55

It's not quite summer yet?  Right?

In early  June I'll be competing with myself as both THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM and the first season DVDs of Blood Ties hits the stores.  (First season refers to the way Lifetime did the split -- 12/10 -- not the full 22 we got up here.  I've heard second season is out in September but I'm not 100% on that."

Because I wasn't at Ad Astra back in March and won't be at Polaris in July, the only signing I'll be doing in Toronto this year is on Saturday, June 6th at Bakka-Phoenix.  Signing will start at three and go until around five.  I have to catch a train home at  6:30 so 5:45 and a taxi to the station is the absolute latest I'll be there.  And I'll be panicking by about five fifteen.   So if you're going to come -- and if you're in Toronto, we'd love to see you  --  come early.  Don't let me sit there and eat the cookies all by myself because I will blame you if I look like crap in a bathing suit this summer.

Now since this is the beloved's year to go to Worldcon, I won't be in Montreal for Anticipation but Fiona Patton will and you should get your books signed and tell her how amazing she is.

In August -- August 21st to 23rd -- I'll be a guest at Con.Version in Calgary, Alberta.   And if I'm not enough for you, Terry Brooks and Robert Sawyer will also be there.   THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM is actually set in Calgary so hows that for serendipity?

In October  -- okay, I know, not summer but I'm on a roll here -- specifically October 2nd to 4th, I'm a guest at VCON in Vancouver, BC.

It's the all Canadian tour this year!  Yay!

(So far in 2010, in March I'll be at Lunacon, in NY and then in May I'll be in Baltimore at Balticon for those of you who like to plan ahead.)
