going on a covers kick
The word "adult" just conjures up vague images of cubicles, and credit card debt, and of middle-aged women dancing semi-provocatively at Rush shows. Rush is cool and all, but I have no desire to dance to them. They are lukewarm as lukewarm can be. This is why I cling to emo, even though three-fourths of all emo bands claim to be something else (alt-rock, post-grunge, punk, etc) because OMG THE STIGMA. shut up, jimmy eat world. you are obviously emo bitches, now shut up and sing to me.
