Ow!
Need more proof that I'm 80? Here it is. I hurt my back at work today while I was decorating a Christmas tree. I wasn't even twisting or kneeling to stand or anything, I was just bent over a wee bit to place some lights and when I tried to stand I felt a sort of snap in my lower back. I cried out in pain and fell to a squatting position and my eyes filled with tears. Anyway, to make a really long story short I had to go to Work Med after my meeting (I say after, because I couldn't move after I sat down) and now I'm home with three bottles of pills and a very painful back. I can walk if I go very slowly and lean to the right. It's even easier if I walk backwards. Doing anything is torture. I have to do physical therapy, which is ok, because I work in a Rehab center, so I guess I got lucky that way. I'm just tired and stupid and I hope this makes sense.
