I've not been this broke in years. I have $3.13 in my bank account and $4 in my pocket. I owe money to Gary for my Metric ticket and alcohol.
Jeebs and I just played a singer/songwriter showcase at the University and I had to ditch out on the fun afterwards because of the presentation on social determinants of health in 8 hours. It was really fun and great to see other people play music no matter what level of professionalism they have attained. Since the breakup with Laura a couple of weeks ago, playing shows and dancing always leave me with a great feeling for a few days afterward. Then it's back the same old sludge. There are two more shows lined up for the month with the other band and I can't wait to get to them.
Things just seem clearer to me after playing a show; less confusion,fog, and multiple personas floating around.
