M&D downstairs watching England V Germany; could not be less interested if I tried. Except for Brian Blessed doing the inspirational voiceover in the little movie they showed before it started, because that was awesome.
Blargh, I always think of home through rose-tinted goggles. On the one hand, free food and internet and TV and people who loooove me; on the other, parents who are always trying to a) give me things to do, and b) tell me what I'm doing wrong in like, life. Also, who often don't ~get me. \o/. /whining
Things that make me :DDD :
- Chris Colfer's unexpected dexterity with deadly weapons *________* Like I need a reason to like him/Kurt more, ugh. LotR was technically my first fandom, okay, and more specifically, Legolas - therefore, I kind of imprinted on anyone able to use both hands to wield sharp blades with equal grace. Also, his little ":D They won't let me do this at home! :D"! ♥
- Glamnation, duh. DEAR ADAM, HOW NICE OF YOU TO CELEBRATE THE END OF MY EXAMS BY LICKING AND KISSING TOMMY. PERHAPS I SHOULD TAKE THEM MORE OFTEN (AHAHAHANO)
- Rihanna's video for "Te Amo". Gnaaah, christ. It's all the pose-y sex from "Rehab", but with a hot girl! However, I have a question - if Rihanna can do this, why couldn't the IIHY video have two dudes kissing in the background? Yeah, exactly.
- um, the new 30STM video, "Closer To The Edge". I just...I'm having MyChem withdrawal symptoms, okay (BRING THE DAMN ALBUM OUT BOYS, GOD) and this is exactly the kind of video they would make. The captionsss! Also, the pink mohawk! (it's not pink, it's pomegranate) ♥Jared♥. Uh, also? If I went to a concert and Jared hapened to lose his shirt? I would call that getting my money's worth, hoo boy.
Speaking of, I bought the director's cut of Alexander, because it was £5 and there, but alas, it's missing some of my favourite bits ;_______; (the conversation they have about how screwed they are before the battle, and Hephaistion and everyone in the audience waits for Alexander to ~invite him into his tent but then he DOESN'T; the "your eyes reduce me to schoolboy metaphors" and the "stay with me tonight, Hephaistion" bits of that scene, and the bit where Alexander is moping about killing that dude and his wife comes to see him but Hephaistion cuts her off outside the tent because "no one's allowed in", and she's all "but I'm his wife" and Hephaistion smirks and ducks back inside)
Blah blah blah, all the gay couples on my TV are breaking up (Bob and Lee in Desperate Housewives, Callie and Arizona in Grey's), I haven't been watching DW because while I'm fond of the Doctor and Amy I just don't really care, it seems like Chrsitian and Syed are NEVER going to come back onscreen in EastEnders (and even if they do they'll just be moping and trying to de-gay themselves, repectively), and both Glee and SPN are done for at least a few months, woe.
