Holy crossovers, Batman!
By which I mean:

Why yes, that is Panic! At The Disco covering "Carry On Wayward Son".
thesameband seems to think it's most likely because it's on RockBand, but I'm gonna pretend it's because Brendon is an SPN fanboy LA LA LA HAPPYPLACE YOU CAN'T PROVE ME WRONG :DDD. (Yeah, I know it's kinda of fuzzy and Brendon's voice is a little off on the choruses, but the verses are pretty, and I keep forgetting Ian is so awesome on guitar. DO IT AGAIN WITH BETTER CAMERAS IN THE AUDIENCE PLZ BOYS Different, better quality video now up :D)
Speaking of SPN, I suspect I'm several years late on this, but
Old Country is amazing. Y'all know I don't do Wincest, but the fic was so awesome I made an exception.
I would, however like to point out that a) I know it's Scotland, but even there I don't think the weather can go from snow to hot sun in ten days in May, b) British people do use worse words than "bloody" when swearing, I promise, and NO ONE actually uses "rotter" and "cheesed off" anymore, and c) we do drink beverages other than tea. Also, I know that to Dean an eleven year old is tiny and innocent (and also they are British and therefore extra straight-laced and uptight, duh), but believe me when I say that they do actually know how to swear, especially when in school and away from their parent's ears - I should know, I was one.
In other news,
Ianto might be back in Torchwood. It's kind of a long shot and it hasn't been confirmed (and, as one of the commenters points out, Gareth is in some SyFy movie so that's an equally valid reason for his going to the the US...), but just in case: JSHJDHLASDFHKSDHGKHLGJHSDLG YESSSSSSS.
Aaaand
the Glee boys are being adorable again. N'awwww, Chris! <3333
I know SGU just finished, but apparently Rodney was in the last ep, or something? And Sheppard was mentioned? :DDDDDDD SHOOOOW. (YouTube seems to be telling me he's been on before too?) However, mostly I was flailing at the TV this week because I was watching Hellcats and the suddenly Rodney was a pharmacist! Meaning he joins Dr Fraiser as a worried Christian mother and Brian Kinney as a mildly evil teacher. Oh Hellcats, who will you add in next?!
Also, that ep had this really awesome song in that turned out to be
"Stutterin" by Fefe Dobson, and now I can't stop listening to it, along with "I Feel Pretty/Unpretty" from this week's Glee and "Jet Lag" by Simple Plan. Um, and I may have realised what everyone meant by "losing my life to Tumblr" in the wake of "The Man Who Would Be King", and JFC everything really does come back to Dean/Cas, because if I had any vidding skills AT ALL I would be using "Stutterin", OMG.
(Other fanciful vid ideas include Sam/Ruby, set to "Ruby" by The Kaiser Chiefs, and any number of Sam&Dean/Team Free Will vids set to most of the songs off Danger Days, but especially "Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back" (because yesssss! and also jangley guitar intro, \o/) and "The Only Hope For Me Is You", and also "Bulletproof Heart" and "Planetary (GO!)" and "Party Posion".)

ETA: And also, since I'm editing - Dear Adam fandom: chill the fuck out. Like, I know, I can imagine that for a moment there it all seemed to be falling apart, but we don't know the full story (and they don't owe it to us) and all this pearl-clutching and talk of who's on which side is getting annoying, not to mention all the names being thrown around towards people you've only ever loved before. Some of it was a little eyebrow-raising, sure, but the important part is THEY ARE NOW OVER IT and so should you be.
Dear Adam: make with the Russia concert already and give us something that actually merits discussion. Love, me.
