Work was pretty good today. I started the day with an hour and a half long Circ shift, and that's always good. After that, Christine invited me out to lunch at Burrito Bros. I'm not officially part of the Marston Burrito Bros. gang. Lunch was hella fun. It was cool to get to know the librarians in a more casual setting. We also had a highly engaging and intelligent conversation covering topics such as mail-order spouses and brothels. When I came back I had a retrieval desk shift. I sat there and pretty much did nothing constructive for 3 hours. Wait, I take that back. I did show Alex how compact shelving works. Yay! After that, I made new labels for books for Vernon and went home.
After work, I went over to the boys' place. We just hung out and Adrian beat my ass in Madden. I had a 2 score lead at half-time, but my team just suffered a complete meltdown. Oh well. After that we played some Soul Caliber and Halo. I had an off night in SC, but did get a win in Halo when Adrian and I played against Alex and James on Chiron with no shields. Oh well, I'm getting tired and realizing that this is a useless post. I'm going to finish burning this CD for John and then put on Gods and Generals and see far I get before passing out.
