Sunny, here's the chance to get your own back :P
I had a dream wherein I was at a Jitsu Provincials (a whole bunch of us from across the various clubs get together and train for a massive weekend of jitsu). Only problem was, I simply couldn't get on the mats. Sensei Doby asked me to go find something (I think it was a sword) and by the time I'd found it, I was so late to the mats that Sensei Thumper looked disapprovingly at me and did not allow me on. Nevertheless, I quietly faced down the insecurity and allowed him to do with me as he pleased without getting too bent out of shape about it.
I actually did this in my dream. I doubt I'd be as calm in real life. I remember softly and quietly responding to various request from the Sensei with "yes, sir"...which is odd, because it's a breach of protocol to call a Sensei "sir". "Sir" is good for Tae Kwon Do. It's "sensei" to all jitsuka club instructors.
I can't recall if I had a brown belt or not. In my dream I felt like I either had one, or at least very much deserved one. I am coming up on my brown belt grading in a little under three weeks. Jesus Christ, 6 sessions left. !!!
I did not recognize the dojo in which we were training, but I had the sense of being familiar with it.
I wish I could remember more, but unfortunately, this is more than I usually get. Usually I wake up with a vague echo of whatever emotions I was feeling in my dreams.
