irony, thy name is life

Does anyone else find it, if not disturbingly, chillingly implausible, then at least freakishly unlikely that someone like myself, who is known for his hermetic tendencies, as well as his tendencies of being a hermit, as well as his anti-social, impatient, and oftentimes downright caustic attitudes, his penchant for using, overusing, misusing and outright abusing words in whole and in part, who has, for the entirety of his life to date, utterly loathed leaving answering machine messages, is sitting behind a desk at this very moment calling people and leaving messages in a cheerful tone? Whose job function at this point in time is to do pretty much just that?

Yes, that was a question, though in two parts. One of which was so fractured that it was at least 5 parts :P

Anyway, here I am, performing a human resources job (hah) by necessity. After that necessity has passed, my primary job function will be to train and track the training certifications on 200 people. But it's the training part that's so weird. When did I become sociable enough to stand in front of a class and drivel on endlessly to them about stuff that I'm barely qualified to talk about?

Hah. sucks to be them.
