I'm home
I spent my first night in the new condo last night. The place is a mess, with boxes and bags stuffed everywhere. I look at it all and think I will never get everything put away and organized. But at least I'm here. There are still a lot of little things at the old place, and more clothes, but Lisa is once again coming to my aid and will help me get all of those things out on Saturday just as my painter begins work on sprucing up the old place. Today when I went to the old place to load up some of the things left behind, I realized just how exhausted I was with each step I took back and forth loading my car. But it has to be done and it has to be done now so I got what I could manage and staggered home with every muscle aching.
Tonight I will dedicate to being a couch potato because I desperately need to just sit still for a few hours. And because my cable was connected this morning, I will be able to sit back, relax and watch the latest Dr. Who spinoff to premiere on Scifi Channel following the adventures of Sarah Jane Smith. Then I will truly be comfy in my new place.
And, for those of you who read my last blog, I was able to get a replacement Razr at T-Mobile to the tune of $107 and an extension of my current contract. An expensive price for stupidity - now I'm paranoid about putting my cellphone in my pocket.
