Not the strip club

I have a serious case of deja vu..... maybe it's not deja vu because i KNOW i've been in this same moment before.

so i'm sitting in probably one of the smallest computer labs in one of the most obscure places on campus.... the building itself is quite popular, for those of you who attend school with me, pray harold, but the 7th floor is not. there's nothing up here really and as i sit here and try to tell you what is, i can't for the life of me remember anything except this room.

anyhow i'm sitting here at the same computer i was about a month ago and directly to my right are the 2 people, in the same seats that sat next to me on that particular day. i remember them because we had some random conversation about my paper (i wanst sure to use "impure" or "unpure"... found out unpure isnt a word), west indian dialects, and the weather. the boy, yoshi (yes his name is yoshi...well kiyoshi actually) i had a chance meeting with 2 years ago at a tacobell and the girl (nameless) asked me for a tampon last semester in the 3rd floor bathroom of the library. why i remember their faces i have no idea... the fact that i remember how i know them baffles me because my memory is so bad i occasionally misspell my name.

anyhow he's sitting 2 seats down with his headphones resting on top of his cornrows, gracefully nodding his head to the beat and i'm wondering what exactly is he listening to? just as i did a month ago. she's tapping away at her keyboard ferociously with her eyes locked intently on the keys as if she skipped out on her highschool keyboarding class. her gigantic silver hoop earrings rock back and forth and back and forth and back and forth from the constant motion of her head as it faces first the key board and then the monitor. i wonder if she's making herslef dizzy and whether or not shes in danger of whiplash.

strangely enough i do not feel as if it will be the last time i see these strangers. i start to contemplate whether or not i believe in parallel lives.
