One more month of this...

Does anyone remember that Staples commercial, where the song “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” is playing, and they show a dad dancing down the aisles as he grabs school supplies for his kids for going back to school? The kids are shuffling behind him, heads down, looking like they’re getting ready to face the executioner. That commercial always cracked me up. And dude, I’m already there.

Last night I stood in the hallway, fists by my side, clenched jaw, and in that overly-enunciated, controlled manner of speaking said, “Bridget. Just. Stop. Talking. Now.”

That pretty much sums up my week so far.
