A friend of mine I used to play online with and talk to a ton got diagnosed with HIV a little while ago and I just found out today. I really don't know what to think really.
I feel bad for him because he's had a hard life so far. He thinks he got it from his late bf, who committed suicide roughly a year ago. He's only 21 years old and has his whole life infront of him. Well, had I guess.
I knew HIV was out there, and it is serious, but I didn't think I'd know someone personally that has it this early in my life. Especially a good friend.
I want to go meet him in person, something we always talked abouted doing, but i'm flat broke and probably won't have the funds for a while.
This sucks.
