Christmas break '08
Finished off the semester well. Grades came out online a couple of days ago. I got on the Dean's List. Yay! My goal by graduation is to have a cumulative of 3.5. Still have quite a bit of work to do.
Break has been nice so far. Came home and got ready for my roommate and our friend from Ireland to spend the weekend with me. Saturday we went to dinner with a friend and then met up with Rusty for drinks at The Chimes. Continued the drinking at a friend's apartment. Sunday Beth, Sarah, and I went shopping then met my parents for dinner. Monday we ate lunch then they left. It was a fun weekend. I've just been hanging out since. Kinda boring, actually.
Another knee injury today. The oddest thing happened: I was getting in the car, and my left knee twisted and popped. Normally I wouldn't worry, but it was so unexpected and not the usual popping. Headed to the doctor. He said I could have partly dislocated it or caught my meniscus making it pop. Luckily, nothing too bad. I'm in a brace for a week or two and on Aleve for five days. I'll be up running around again tomorrow.
Christmas is in a week and I'm not even close to being done with Christmas shopping. I still need to get my family's presents and some of my home friends' presents. I'm not hitting the mall in the next week, that's for sure.
Off to eat. I'm starving!
