Oh no, Tebo's 21!
I did not get drunk on my 21st birthday.
My friends were disappointed. But, my birthday was on Monday and I had lots of responsibilities that I couldn't let go, so I just drank enough to get me happily relaxed.
I had a really great day. Two of my classes got out early. A couple of my friends decorated my car and put streamers on it. Another friend posted "Happy 21st birthday Tebo!" signs all over my room and our bathrorom and then decorated my door with streamers and signs. My parents gave me all three seasons of Weeds, a massage, and beautiful flowers. We went to lunch and then to the liquor store so I could buy my first bottle of wine. In the afternoon, I received my presents and had wine and cake with some friends. After night class, I went out with a handful of people to a Mexican restaurant to have food and margaritas.
Last night, my friends threw me a surprise dinner. When I took off the blindfold, there was a bunch of my friends standing in a semi-circle with candles lit and a cookie cake. They cooked spaghetti and we had garlic bread and wine. We sat around and talked for awhile then some of us went to watch a movie in my room. It was such an awesome birthday!!!
Our room is already starting to look like a liquor store. I can't wait to see how it looks in two weeks when my roommate turns 21.
